Walking along the Northern coast of Lantau, the reclamation of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge artificial island
shows a big challenge the environment as well as the Chinese White Dolphins facing.
Passing underneath the North Lantau Expressway, the Tai Ho River, a Site of Special Scientific Interests (SSSI) is reached and different
kinds of inter-tidal organisms, dragonflies, butterflies, fresh water fishes
and birds may be uncovered. From the village Pak Mong and Ngau Kwu Long, the
historical and cultural features drive you to 2-3 hundred years ago. Going
along the trail in Lantau North Country Park, the Old Silver Mine can be found before
the end point at the Silver Mine Bay Waterfall.
